Over the years our Club has raised tens of thousands of pounds for community projects and local charities. But more importantly, members have and continue to freely give of their time to interact with and help local communities. We also run or assist with projects aimed at enabling the development of groups and individuals or simply providing the opportunity for people to have fun.

 

Here are just some of the local activities where our Club is involved:

 

• Caring for Young Carers;

• Newport Uskmouth Rotary Grand Charity Draw;

• Welsh Disabled Team Sports Championships 

• Newport PHAB Club;

• ‘Kids Out’ day at Barry Island (www.kidsout.org.uk );

• Sponsorship of several young people to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) (www.ryla.org).

• Duffryn Community Link (www.duffryncomlink.org.uk)
