AIMS
The Satellite Club of Newport Uskmouth Rotary is aimed at Newport (and District) business and professional leaders interested in community service and developing friendships/social networking opportunities in line with Rotary International objectives.
We welcome fresh thinking leaders from the local community to join the largest humanitarian organisation in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
ORIGINS
Newport Uskmouth Rotary was the first Rotary club in South Wales to create a satellite club. The club was formally inducted into the Rotary family in November 2013. We are organised and operate within the constitution of Newport Uskmouth Rotary but projects are based on members' aims and interests.
MEETINGS
Recognising the family and business commitments of our members the Satellite Club meets once a month for a breakfast meeting.
Meetings held on the penultimate Friday of each month
Start time: 7.00am (aim to finish at 8.30am)
Location: Queens Head Hotel, Newport
The monthly meetings are supplemented by electronic media communications which ensures and promotes regular exchanges between the members.
